Sappi Fine Papers Awards Ideas that Matter Grant to Mark Atkinson for Mercy & Sharing Work

Sappi, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of fine printing papers, awarded Picture World Hope Creative Director Mark Atkinson a $20,000 grant to design a fund-raising piece for Mercy & Sharing. Atkinson, along with writer Scott Mackey and producer Christie Kelly spent a week in Haiti documenting the work of Mercy & Sharing. The charity funds schools, a free clinic, an orphanage, feeding programs and the Abandoned Baby Unit at the government hospital in Port Au Prince. A 32-page brochure has been printed for donor distribution and footage is being used for various fundraising films.
