Christie Kelly, Associate Producer, Assignment Coordinator
Christie is a producer and project manager at Otto Design + Marketing with over 20 years of experience in account service. She previously worked at advertising agencies including The Martin Agency and Earle Palmer Browne where she counted Wrangler Jeans, Wachovia Bank, Virginia Lottery and the Chrysler Museum as clients. Christie brings a wealth of organizational knowledge to Picture World Hope. She detests run-of-the-mill and is determined that every project gets the planning, understanding and attention that it deserves.
Christie recently produced a shoot in Haiti for the nonprofit Mercy & Sharing. With a writer and filmmaker, the group produced still images for the organization’s web site, a brochure for the organization and video clips for fundraising effort. There she held malnourished, abandoned babies in her arms and witnessed hundreds of people in a remote village eat their 1st meal in 4 days. It would be an understatement to say that this trip made an impact on her life.
Barbara Ries’ photographs capture the essence of the human spirit. She has traveled the world documenting poverty and need with an empathetic eye. Her images move people into action.
